FS1 Happy Home Learning
Your children have all enjoyed a first visit to their new class this week, please encourage your child to share with you their first experiences of their new class and chat together about their new classroom.
FS2 Homework
Literacy – Write as many words as you can that have ‘at’ in them
e.g cat, mat etc. I wonder who can find the most!
Numeracy – We have been counting 1p and 2p coins this week. Practise counting these at home and write a few coin sentences in your homework book.
e.g. + = 2p or 1p + 1p = 2p
Year 1 Homework
Maths – Can you look out for items in a shop priced up to £2 and write down what coins you would need to buy it? Make a list of these in your homework book.
Literacy – Can you describe your perfect day out at the seaside? What would you do? Where would you go?
Danger Words – Can you practise reading and writing the danger words – your, bought & where.
Year 2 Homework
Spellings – Sugar, sure, couldn’t, wouldn’t, shouldn’t, any & many.
Research – Please research chimney sweeps and the climbing boys.
Maths – Find some items in your cupboards. Weigh them and put them in order, heaviest to lightest.
Year 2 Leavers Disco
On Wednesday 15th July we will be holding a leavers disco for our Year 2 pupils. The disco will start straight after school and finish at 4.15pm. Children can bring clothes to change into on the day.
FABSS
FABSS would be very grateful for donations of teddies and tubes of unopened Pringles for the Summer Fair next Wednesday. Please take to either school reception. Thank you.

Health & Safety
I have been made aware that there has been an incident on school premises when a Junior School parent has been hit by a football and further instances have occurred recently. Therefore I would remind parents/carers to supervise their children and stress that playing football on the playground before or after school is not permitted. Thank you
