Happy Home Learning
FS Red PM team
This week we have been busy making sausages in the play dough and singing the rhyme ‘10 fat sausages’, please sing the rhyme together at home.
Foundation Stage 1
This week, our number of the week has been number 2. Can you all play ‘I spy number 2’ around the local environment & in the supermarket? We have also been practising writing the number 2. We say the following rhyme “Around and back on a rail road track, two, two, two” as we write our number 2. Could you practice at home?

Foundation Stage 2
Literacy – This week we have been reading ‘The Gruffalo’. We have enjoyed sequencing the story and joining in with the repeated phrases. In your literacy book, we would like you to write a sentence to describe your favourite character.
Maths – We have been practising sharing. We have shared Gruffalo cookies between the characters and looked at all the different ways to share a number. At home can you practise sharing different objects into groups (pebbles, food, toys).
Year 1
Reading – Please read your reading books.
Spellings – one, two, three, four, five, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
(Remember to use a capital letter when spelling days of the week). Write each word in a sentence to check you know how to spell it.
Maths – Count in twos to 10? Can you count backwards in twos from 10?
Count in twos to 20? Can you count backwards in twos from 20?
If you can do twos, try fives and tens (forwards and backwards)
