IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDING INFORMATION
All parents/carers have been advised on the ticket request letters, the tickets and verbally at the beginning of the performance, that any photos or video footage taken of the performances must be used solely for family viewing only and NOT posted on the internet or any social media sites. I am therefore deeply saddened, that this morning’s FS1/FS2 performance has been posted on Facebook. I have already received telephone calls from parents expressing their annoyance and concern and would expect that any postings on social media be removed immediately. If these posts are not removed I will have no alternative but to deny the people concerned entrance to any future performances.

Y1/Y2 Christmas Performance Tickets
If you are still wanting to purchase your tickets for the Y1/Y2 performance please contact the office staff as soon as possible. Spare tickets will be allocated to those on the waiting list on Monday 7th December.
Costumes
Dress rehearsals for the Y1/Y2 performance are on Tuesday 8th December. Please make sure your child’s costume is in school before then. If you are unsure which costume to provide please speak to your child’s class teacher.
Class of the Week – 23rd – 27th November 2015
Last week, none of our classes achieved the expected level of 95.7%, however, Class 10 achieved a level of 95.2% and are ‘Class of the Week’. Well done!
October Attendance
We have received the October Attendance Data from the authority and regret that the school has failed to meet our attendance target of 95.7%, achieving a level of 95.2%. This is mainly due to a high level of absence because of illness; however, attendance was also affected by term time holidays. Had no term time holiday been taken the school would have exceeded our target.
Safeguarding
The safety of your children is most important and to fall in line with our Safeguarding Policy, please do not allow your children to play on the equipment or climb on the walls and fences before and after school. Thank you
Buggy Shelter
Thank you to all the parents and carers who have so far made use of our buggy shelter when visiting school for our Christmas productions. Locks are available at reception should you wish to keep your pram/buggy secure. We would remind you that pushchairs are not allowed inside school due to health and safety regulations.
Christmas Advent Reading
This week we started an exciting reading project in school. Each class has chosen, wrapped and labelled a collection of books to give to another class in school as their reading advent calendar. Each day a book is opened and read at story time. Perhaps you could choose books to wrap and open on Saturday and Sunday so that your child can continue their advent reading at home over the weekend.
Parent Questionnaire Lucky Draw
Thank you to all parents/carers for completing the Parent Feedback Questionnaire. The lucky winner of the draw was Ellie Mae Ogley, Unit 3, who has received a Meadowhall Shopping Voucher.
Messy Church
St Francis Church will be holding a ‘Messy Church’ session on Sunday from 4pm to 6pm. Christmas crafts, celebration and food are provided and all are welcome. For further details call 07512 607117 or email bramley.stfrancis@gmail.com.
