Year 1
In Year 1 our topic is ‘Feathered Friends’ and we have been learning all about how to look after birds in the winter. We have been busy following instructions to make our own Fat Balls to hang around school and to put in our gardens.
Mr Walker from Wickeresly School has been helping us to learn all about Gymnastics in PE. We all worked really hard using our school values ‘Teamwork’ and ‘Perseverance’ to make letters, numbers and words out of our bodies! We have also been learning about travelling and balancing skills.
All that practising paid off! We performed our Nativity ‘Straw and Order’ last week and it was amazing! Since then we have been so busy making Christmas cards, sewing’s and clay pieces to bring home.
All the staff wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
