Happy Home Learning

We have been learning lots of nursery rhymes over the past few weeks. Please practise them at home. Which one is your favourite?

Literacy – It is a very special day on Sunday "Mothers Day". Can you write about why you love your Mummies?

Number – We still need lots of practise in writing numbers the correct way round. Can we write numbers from 0 to 20 and really concentrate on the correct formation?

Year 1 Homework

        Green & Round

Year 2 Homework

Spellings – asked, make, any, many, saw, here

Phonics – Have a think about verbs (doing words) e.g. bake, swim, run. Can you put three verbs into a sentence? Write a few sentences with different verbs. As extra thinking, could you also add an adverb?

Parent Consultation Evenings

Parent consultations will take place during the final week of term. Time sheets are now displayed in your child’s classroom for you to select a time that suits you best.

Morrison’s Easter Colouring Competition

Please remember to send in your Easter artwork before Friday 4th April. Your child can draw, paint or make a collage related to Easter which will then be collected by a representative from Morrison’s. Please make sure that the picture is clearly labelled with your child’s name, age and school.
