Foundation Stage 2 Homework
Literacy – In your homework book practise writing the letter S using the correct formation and draw three pictures that begin with the letter S
Numeracy – Sing 5 currant buns in a bakers shop. Draw 5 currant buns in your homework book and write the numbers underneath.
Year 1 Homework
Numeracy – Using positional language navigate your grown up around your house and use words like next to, by the side of, left, right, underneath.
Literacy – Think of some questions to ask The Robot. Do not forget to include a question mark and question words like where, who, when and why.
Year 2 Homework
Spellings – eyes, nose, hair, toes, knees, teeth.
Maths – Doubling. Can you double numbers to 10? Time yourself and see how quickly you can do it. Then try doubles to 20.
Literacy – Draw your own Gruffalo type monster and use adjectives to describe him.
Please find attached a handwriting sheet. Can you practise your letter formation? Remember your tail and small letters.
Macmillan Coffee Afternoon – Friday 26th September
On Friday 26th September we will be supporting the Macmillan ‘Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning’ event. We will be holding our event in the afternoon and refreshments will be served in the Infant School Hall from 2pm and there will also be a cake stall. If anyone would like to send in donations of buns, cakes or biscuits please leave them at main reception. You will be able to collect your child from their classroom from 2pm onwards so that they can enjoy this fabulous fundraising event with you. Please remember you must inform your child’s teacher so that they can be signed out.

Wow, what a start to the year. The children in Mrs Stothard’s class have attained an attendance level of 100%. Well done, we are very proud of you.
