Newsletter 6 – Autumn Term 2015 – 8th October 2015

Happy Home Learning – FS1
This week the children have been learning the rhyme Five Little Men in a Flying Saucer. Please help your child to sing the rhyme at home. You could make some little men and a flying saucer at home together. We would love to see your creations next week in school.
Foundation Stage 2 Homework
Literacy – We have been learning the sounds m, a, s, d, t, p, n and g. Please help your child to say the sound of each letter and to blend the sounds together to read: sad, mad, sit, pin, pit, pad, din, tag. If possible, use their homework book to write 3 of the words.
Numeracy – This week we have been practising to count accurately and to recognise numerals. Please help your child to draw a caterpillar with as many legs as your child wishes up to a total of 20. Help your child to point to each leg as they count and then write the total number of legs at the side of their drawing.
