Newsletter 7 – Spring Term 15th February
Whole School Home Work
We are celebrating World Book Day and our homework this week is to get busy reading for our sponsored 20 Book Reading Challenge. Further details are on the attached sponsor form. (Forms have also been handed out to children today)
Reading in Unusual Places!
Books can be read anywhere and everywhere! We would love you to bring in a photograph of yourself reading in an unusual place. Think about different, exciting, fun and SAFE places where you can enjoy a book. There will be a prize for the most unusual place!
Please return sponsor forms and photographs before Wednesday 1st March
30 Hours Free Childcare
Currently all 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours a week of free early learning. From September 2017 this will be doubled to 30 hours for working families. The Local Authority would like to know how you would like to take up the free 30 hour childcare entitlement so they can make sure there are enough places for everyone. Please visit www.rotherham.gov.uk/consultations to fill in the questionnaire and view the eligibility criteria.
