Today Key Stage 1 visited St Francis’ Church to celebrate Easter. The Revd. Daran Ward talked to us about words we associate with Easter. He had sent us a task before we came, we had to write down what we thought about when someone mentioned Easter. He collected all the answers together and the results were:
1. Easter Eggs 43
2. Bunny 38
3. Chocolate 27
4. Chicks 26
5. Jesus 25
We then had two teams of children and we had to work out which answers we thought were pointless. The pointless answer for this was Hot Cross Buns.
